​2-Year Olds
We know that our 2 year olds need a special type of curriculum to support their learning and development. We work hard with our children to build relationships and help them feel comfortable. We offer our 2 year olds freedom to explore, supporting them to build their physical skills, independence and communication skills. We offer all our 2 year olds in their first half term the 'Two year progress check'. We help our children become toilet trained and able to manage their health and self care. We offer all new children a flexible settling in procedure, this enables trust from our parents to the Pre-School. We use the Early Years Stage (EYFS) and development matters as our basis for supporting children.
​3-5 Year Olds

Once our children have mastered the 2 year old milestones, we offer a differentiated program of learning in our Butterflies groups. Our experienced staff lead teaching for our Butterflies, working on group work, adult led learning and specific next steps. We give them the skills and confidence to achieve their ambitions, developing their early literacy and mathematics.
We work closely with local schools in order to prepare the children for transition to primary school. We use the Early Years Stage (EYFS) and development matters as our basis for supporting children.
